Purpose
The purpose of this fun activity is to introduce something new about other delegates. It is ideal to be used at the beginning of a course as an icebreaker. It is especially effective for a group of people who don’t know each other very well.
Objective
Delegates to introduce something about themselves using association.
What You Need
- A copy of the activity sheet for each participant (See a copy at the bottom of this page)
Setup
- Give a copy of the activity sheet to each delegate.
- Explain that delegates have 3 minutes to write down something about themselves associated with the words given in the sheet. For example, if the word ‘Leeds’ is in the activity sheet, they can write, “I spend a year in Leeds doing my masters”.
- At the end of 3 minutes ask delegates to share their information with others.
