Team Priorities


Purpose

By looking closer at their main tasks and goals as a team, this exercise enables delegates to examine and prioritise their team’s efficiency and direction towards its objectives. This activity is most suitable for smaller groups of people who usually work as part of a team.

Objective

Delegates to record the amount of time spent on different tasks and prioritise their main tasks based on their main objective.

What You Need

  • A copy of the ‘Priority Activity Sheet’ for each delegate

Setup

  • Distribute a copy of the activity sheet and a pen between delegates.
  • Explain that delegates have 10 minutes to go through their sheets and fill in the blanks.
  • At the end of the 10 minutes, ask delegates to sit in a circle and share their recorded answers in an orderly fashion with the rest of the group.

Timing

Explaining the Exercise: 5 minutes.

Activity: 15 minutes

Group Feedback: 10 minutes.
