Terms & Conditions for Live Online Training Courses

Train the Trainer Courses

These terms apply to all live online training courses provided by Skills Converged.

Technical Requirements

To participate in a live online course, you must have a suitable computer, a reliable internet connection, a working microphone, speakers or headset, and a functioning webcam.

You are responsible for checking that your equipment, software and internet connection work correctly before the course.

Technical difficulties arising from your own equipment, connectivity or security settings will not normally qualify you for a refund or free course transfer.

If technical difficulties on our side prevent us from delivering the course, we will endeavour to resolve them or offer an alternative date or an appropriate refund.

Recording of Practical Demonstrations

As part of the live online course, each learner's practical demonstration at the end of the course will be recorded and shared with them for learning and review purposes.

Attendance and Course Access

Delegates are expected to join their course on time and follow the joining instructions provided.

Course joining links are for registered delegates only and must not be shared with others.

Prices

There are no VAT components in our prices. You pay what is advertised. The price shown on the website at the time of the booking is what you pay. We reserve the right to change the prices at any time.

Cancellation and Refunds

If you need to cancel your booking, the following refund policy applies based on the number of calendar days before the course starts.

Cancellation Notice Refund
More than 30 days before the course 100% refund
16–30 days before the course 50% refund
1–15 days before the course No refund
No-show or cancellation on the course date No refund

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to Skills Converged.

Course Transfers

If you wish to transfer a booking to a later course, this will be subject to agreement by Skills Converged.

If the transferred booking is subsequently cancelled or the delegate does not attend, the standard cancellation policy will apply.

A request for a second transfer will be treated as a cancellation and subject to the standard cancellation policy.

To request a transfer, please contact us.

Substituting a Delegate

If you are unable to attend, we may, at our discretion, allow another person to attend in your place. Please contact us in advance to arrange this.

Cancellation by Skills Converged

Skills Converged reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses at its discretion.

If we cancel a course, we will endeavour to inform all delegates at least 5 working days before the course starts.

You will be offered a full refund or a place on an alternative course date agreed with you.

Skills Converged will not be liable for consequential losses or other costs incurred as a result of course cancellation, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

Changes to Course Content

We continuously review and improve our courses. Skills Converged reserves the right to make changes and improvements to course content at any time without prior notice, provided the essential nature and quality of the booked training are maintained.

Intellectual Property

All training materials, online content, handouts, guides and course content are protected by copyright and remain the intellectual property of Skills Converged or the relevant rights holders.

These materials must not be distributed or shared with others without prior written permission from Skills Converged.

Liability

Skills Converged's training courses and accompanying materials are provided for educational purposes and should not be relied upon as legal advice or legal interpretation.

Neither Skills Converged nor its trainers accept responsibility for actions taken by delegates or others based on their interpretation or application of the training content, including its use in legal proceedings.

If legal interpretation or advice is required, you should consult a qualified legal professional.

Skills Converged is not responsible for losses resulting from circumstances outside its reasonable control.

Refund Processing

To request a cancellation or refund, please contact Skills Converged with your name, order number and course title.

Approved refunds will normally be processed to the original payment method within 10 days.

Personal information collected during booking and course participation will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection laws.

Governing Law and Changes to Terms

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply.

Skills Converged may update these terms from time to time. Changes will not retrospectively affect confirmed bookings unless required by law or agreed with the customer.
