Team Building Games: Know Your Team Mates?

Purpose

This fun exercise is especially useful for a group of people who don’t know each other very well such as new employees or people from different departments within an organisation. This activity can be used as an ice breaker to help people get to know each other better.

Objective

Each participant has to find out a series of information from other people in the group.

What You Need

A box of chocolate
A copy of the "questionnaire" shown below for each delegate

Setup

Each delegate has to fill in at least five of the spaces on their questionnaire. Once finished the delegate should shout bingo! The first person who has the five answers is the winner. The winner should go through his or her list and explain what information belongs to whom.

Example:

Question: Someone who was born in the same year as you

Answer: John

Box of chocolate goes to the winner.

Timing

Explaining the Test: 5 minutes.

Activity: 10 minutes

Group Feedback: 10 minutes.

Variations

You can change the questionnaire or simply design your own questions for this task.
