I have a general question on training materials. Let me first say that the products are of high quality and are quite comprehensive. However I am curious. My general question is how effective have they been when delivered to clients. How did the delegates respond and how did they score the courses?

If any other users who have used these before and have views on this, I would be interested to know. Thanks in advance

Hi PX Trainer

Thanks for your question. We deliver our courses to clients and we know this is the best way to improve the products based on the feedback we receive from them. Our experience shows that the delegates are quite happy with what they get in the course. Quite often we receive 5 out of 5 for content and applicability to their needs. For example, our Leadership Skills training course is one of the favourites. It was recently thought to a group of directors from many different industries such as art, plastic manufacturing, insurance, hair dressing, etc. all present in one training class. Despite the variation, they found the 2 day course quite useful and could walk through many of the case studies and exercises and learn the fundamental lessons of team leadership. We always intend to make the courses both educational and entertaining. The response we get from our delegates suggests that we are satisfying both. Just as an example, a comment we got from one of our delegates recently  was quite satisfying:

"What I learned during this course is that there is a lot more to leadership than I thought before. I now understand how to manage my own boss and how my boss is managing me and why she is so good at it. I know I need to practice a lot more to become good at this, but now I know that it can be done and I can be good at it."

She was a lot more confident at the end of course than when she came in. In any case, we continuously update the course content to reflect the needs of the delegates. I hope this has answered your question.

PX trainer

I've used Presentation skills course from skills converged in my recent training and the result was very good. I think most of the courses here or at least ones ive purchased have been designed using latest information about every topic but at the same time everything is explained in a very simple and systematic way and i think most people prefer this method of training to the old fashion long winded teaching methods which risks boring participants.

We have used assertiveness course quite successfully and I agree with Matt_UK. The training material saved us tons of time, it would have taken us a lot longer to make otherwise. It is up to date and has the core content I wanted to teach, so I was very pleased with it. I found some minor errors in the slides though after contacting support, they were quick to fix them and send me an update.

I also bought team building which I was totally amazed with. It's got too many exercises to fit in one day, but I think that's by design. You are supposed to pick and choose what you want. We carried out a half-day course on team building for a client and used some of the exercises and it was just great. People loved the interactions and there was a lot of learning points to go through. So in general, I would say the courses are value for money and are quite effective. It also depends a lot on your delivery skills, a good trainer should be able to pull off anything.

A couple of months ago I finally got negotiation skills. I wasn't sure at first what it will contain as this was the first time I was buying here, but I can easily say I am very pleased. The content has outstanding quality. Lots of exercises and is just pretty. It saves me a lot of time if I wanted to design this myself. So I am now thinking about offering other courses like communication skills, decision making and maybe leadership because they are relevant to my clients.

Sorry I didn't get back to you for your valuable inputs, but they certainly helped me at the time to make my decision.
